Edo Mama

Video piece for the Edo Mama, an idol made from three eddoe vegetables. The video has been altered to resemble poor quality VHS footage.

Paintings in Oil

Fetishistic figure paintings painted in a faux-Old-Masters style. Portals to the realm of uncertainty. These works have a narrative element created through the association of the sitter's pose and expression and through the collections of objects depicted.

Bottles

A series of bottles containing my honest thoughts of some people who I have met and who I do not like. Since the thoughts cannot be removed without destroying the artwork, the idea was to create objects using simple materials which hold a kind of power.

Coffee Paintings

These are works painted in instant coffee on paper. The first few photos show a 14 foot long and 5 foot high Coffee Frieze I painted consisting of 6 figures.

The last 3 photos are of smaller studies.

Banana Ikons
